Restoring Lives Through Christ-Centered Care

After 25 years in military service, Rudy Swigart answered the call to ministry, bringing his leadership, pastoral care, and personal testimony into the work of addiction recovery. Having faced his own battles with PTSD, anger, and self-medicating with alcohol, Rudy knows firsthand the power of Jesus to break chains and bring healing.

Rudy holds a Master of Divinity from Houston Christian University and is a Board-Certified Biblical Counselor (BCBC), Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT), Certified Codependence Specialist (CCS), and Trauma Healing Facilitator. His experience in church leadership, curriculum development, and counseling for men with co-occurring disorders makes him an invaluable leader at Still Waters Recovery Center.

In addition to his role here, Rudy is a pastor, counselor, and mentor—guiding men toward victory in Christ, leading Celebrate Recovery, and supporting pastors and church leaders in transition. His mission is simple: to walk alongside the broken, offering them a Christ-centered path to healing and restoration.
